Asset Optimisation and Trading (AOT) is the Business Division where all Asset Optimisation and Trading activities are centralized for the Vattenfall Group. Our activities are multi-site located across Europe with more than 600 professionals working from Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands, Denmark and Poland. We trade the full range of energy commodities such as electricity, gas, oil, coal, freight, renewable energies and emissions, take responsibility for a diversified sourcing of power, fuels and carbon credits and optimise the running and hedging of Vattenfall’s generation assets. These efforts are the basis for maximum profitability and continuous business growth. Origination is part of AOT.
Requirements
University graduate caliber, self-starter, numerate, innovative, willing communicator and accurate
Knowledge of and experience with spreadsheets
High standard of written and spoken English

This position offers you an opportunity to get an insight in the world of origination and a possible career path within energy trade. The department Origination is responsible for business development and handles complex contracts with large accounts.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Assist senior originators in managing existing and new contracts in power & gas
Manage administration and data streams of complex contracts with existing clients
Assist in the deal process from beginning to end
Liaise with trading, operations, risk management, mid-office, back-office, legal, credit and finance functions in relation to contract issues
